Next, we travel to historic Chinatown to visit Sun Pictures, the world’s oldest operating picture gardens, before heading to the local Spinifex Brewery at Cable Beach for a tasting session with locally crafted beers and light snacks.
At Town Beach, learn about Broome’s One Day War, followed by a visit to the Japanese Cemetery, an important site highlighting the strong connection between Japanese migrants and Broome’s pearling heritage. We then visit Broome Port, the largest deep-water access port servicing the Kimberley region.
Continuing this half day Broome tour, we arrive at Gantheaume Point, famous for its striking red rock cliffs, preserved dinosaur footprints, and the iconic Anastasia’s Pool. After exploring the area, enjoy light refreshments and nibbles at nearby Gantheaume Beach as the sun begins to set.
We wrap up the afternoon with a short visit to the picturesque Cable Beach before returning you to your hotel.
